Key Specifications

QE Aries 6510

Overview
The Aries 6510 sCMOS offers an exceptional combination of sensitivity, wide field of view (FOV), and high-speed performance. Its strengths extend beyond sensor specifications, with versatile imaging modes, a simple yet stable data interface, and a compact design, making it an ideal solution for demanding scientific applications.

Unmatched Sensitivity
Equipped with the latest GSense6510BSI sensor, the Aries 6510 sCMOS achieves peak quantum efficiency (QE) of 95% and boasts ultra-low read noise of just 0.7e-. This high sensitivity allows for fast performance while reducing sample damage and enabling efficient multi-dimensional acquisitions.

High-Speed Acquisition with Usable Full Well Capacity
Capturing rapid changes in signal requires both high speed and sufficient full well capacity. A frame rate of 500 fps with only 200e- full well would result in image saturation before meaningful measurements could be taken. The Aries 6510 sCMOS, however, offers 150 fps with a selectable full well capacity ranging from 1000e- to 15,000e-, ensuring better quality in intensity measurements and improved experimental accuracy.

Wide 29.4 mm Diagonal FOV
With a 29.4 mm diagonal FOV, the Aries 6510 sCMOS provides the largest field of view available for a camera with 6.5-micron pixels. This expansive FOV ensures more data is captured per image, enhancing experimental throughput and efficiency.

GigE Interface for Speed and Simplicity
The Aries 6510 sCMOS utilizes a standard GigE interface for seamless data transfer, eliminating the need for costly frame grabbers, bulky cables, or complex boot sequences associated with custom interfaces. This simplifies the setup while ensuring high-speed, reliable performance.
