Key Specifications

Libra & FL series Curve

Overview

The Libra 16 is purpose-built to support the full capabilities of modern microscopy, helping you achieve the widest possible field of view and extract the maximum performance from your optical system. With an impressive peak quantum efficiency (QE) of 92%, broad spectral compatibility across today’s fluorophores, and exceptionally low read noise—down to just 1 electron—Libra cameras deliver high signal-to-noise imaging for superior documentation and analysis.

Large Format / High Resolution

The Libra 16 is equipped with a 16 mm diagonal sensor, tailored to the standard field of view for classical C-Mount optics. Its square-format design is perfectly matched to the central high-quality region of the optical path, ensuring flat, edge-to-edge fluorescence images with minimal distortion.

Optimized for All Signal Levels

The Libra 16 excels in both low-light and high-dynamic-range imaging. With a peak QE of 92% and readout noise as low as 1.0 electrons, it’s ideal for detecting faint signals. Switch seamlessly between high sensitivity mode for dim samples and high dynamic range mode for scenes that contain both bright and weak features—giving you unmatched flexibility in your imaging workflow.

Speed & Triggering Capabilities

Operating at 32 frames per second, the Libra 25 ensures smooth, lag-free focusing and high-quality video-rate imaging. It also includes a comprehensive set of advanced triggering options, making it easy to synchronize with illumination systems for fast, multichannel imaging workflows.
