Key Specifications
Overview
The FL 26BW sCMOS is the latest addition to Tucsen’s new generation of deep-cooled cameras. It features Sony’s cutting-edge back-illuminated CMOS detector, integrating advanced cooling sealing technology and Tucsen’s image noise reduction technology. With the ability to achieve deep-cooling performance comparable to CCDs during ultra-long exposures, it outperforms typical CCDs in field of view (1.8 inches), speed, dynamic range, and various other performance metrics. This camera is well-equipped to replace cooled CCDs in long exposure applications and holds significant potential for advanced microscopy imaging and industrial inspection.
Long Exposure Imaging
The FL 26BW sCMOS boasts a remarkably low dark current of just 0.0005 e-/p/s, with the chip cooling temperature locked down to -25℃. Even during exposures lasting up to 30 minutes, its imaging performance (signal-to-noise ratio) remains superior to that of typical deep-cooled CCDs (ICX695).
Enhanced Quantitative Capability
Integrating Sony's latest back-illuminated chip with exceptional glare suppression, the FL 26BW sCMOS leverages Tucsen's advanced image noise reduction technology. This combination effectively mitigates issues like corner glare and defective pixels, resulting in a uniform imaging background that is ideal for quantitative analysis applications.
Advanced BSI CMOS Technology
The FL 26BW sCMOS utilizes Sony's new generation back-illuminated scientific CMOS detector, delivering long-exposure performance that rivals that of CCD cameras. With a peak quantum efficiency of up to 92% and readout noise as low as 0.9 e-, its low-light imaging capabilities surpass those of CCDs, while its dynamic range exceeds traditional CCD cameras by more than four times.
